VeeFriends was created by entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, commonly known as GaryVee. The universe began with characters originally drawn by Gary and has since expanded into entertainment, physical and digital collectibles, trading cards, comics, animation, games, merchandise, and live experiences.

The VeeFriends universe contains more than 250 characters. Not every character appears in every trading card release, so individual card checklists vary by year and product.

For example, Topps VeeFriends Chrome 2025 featured 100 characters, while Topps Chrome VeeFriends 2026 expanded the checklist to 200 characters.

Major VeeFriends physical card releases include VeeFriends x Zerocool Series 1, VeeFriends Compete & Collect Trading Card Game, Topps VeeFriends Chrome 2025, Topps Chrome Sapphire releases, and Topps Chrome VeeFriends 2026.

There are also promotional and special-distribution cards that may exist outside normal retail checklists.

There is not one single “rarest VeeFriends card.” Numerous VeeFriends releases contain one-of-one cards, meaning only one copy of that specific card variation exists.

Examples can include Superfractors, Padparadscha Sapphire cards, special 1/1 parallels, original sketch cards, and certain autograph cards.

Collectors should distinguish between the rarity of a specific parallel and the rarity of the character itself.

A 1/1 card is a one-of-one collectible. Only one copy of that particular card variation was produced.

For example, if a VeeFriends character has a Superfractor 1/1, there is only one Superfractor version of that specific card.

However, the same character may have other 1/1 cards in different sets or parallel families.

A serial number such as /50 indicates that 50 copies of that particular card variation were produced.

A card marked 07/50, for example, represents the seventh numbered copy within a print run of 50.

Generally, lower serial-numbered print runs are scarcer than higher-numbered versions of the same card, although scarcity alone does not determine market value.

A parallel is an alternate version of a base card.

The character and underlying card may be similar, but the parallel can use a different color, foil pattern, refractor treatment, design, or print quantity.

Examples can include Gold, Orange, Black, Red, Sapphire, Wave, Shimmer, X-Fractor, and Superfractor variations depending on the particular VeeFriends release.

A Superfractor is an extremely limited Chrome parallel associated with Topps Chrome products.

Superfractors are typically produced as 1/1 cards, meaning there is only one Superfractor for that specific card in the applicable checklist.

These are generally among the primary chase cards in Chrome releases.

A Refractor is a Chrome card featuring a reflective optical finish that visually changes as light moves across the card.

Different releases can contain numerous Refractor variations, including different colors, patterns, serial-numbered versions, and product-exclusive parallels.

Always check the specific year’s checklist because the parallel structure can change from one VeeFriends release to another.

An insert is a card belonging to a special subset within a larger card release.

Instead of following the normal base-card design, inserts usually have their own theme, artwork, checklist, and rarity.

VeeFriends Chrome releases have featured inserts such as ERUPT!, Manga Speckle, Iconics, Game On, Y2K, MegaHeads, Neon Lights, Stellar Haze, and others.

Not every VeeFriends character appears in every insert set.

Sketch cards feature original artwork created by an artist rather than simply reproducing the standard card artwork.

Some VeeFriends releases contain original sketch cards, making each piece especially interesting to collectors because the artwork itself can be unique.

Always check the specific set and card because sketch-card formats and quantities vary by release.

Yes. Autographed cards have appeared within the VeeFriends card ecosystem.

Some earlier releases include rare GaryVee autograph cards, while different releases can have their own autograph structures.

Autograph availability should always be checked against the official checklist for the specific product.

First Chrome identifies a character’s first appearance within the Topps Chrome VeeFriends card line.

Topps Chrome VeeFriends 2026 contains 200 characters, with 149 making their First Chrome appearance and 51 returning from the 2025 Chrome checklist.

For character collectors, identifying a character’s first Chrome card can be an important part of building a collection.

Many VeeFriends cards are unnumbered base cards or parallels. Other cards have defined print runs such as /250, /99, /50, /25, /10, /5, or 1/1.

Some unnumbered cards can still be difficult to pull because their scarcity is determined by pack odds or short-print status rather than a printed serial number.

A character collector focuses primarily on collecting cards featuring one particular VeeFriends character rather than completing an entire set.

For example, a Very, Very, Very, Very, Lucky Black Cat collector might search across Series 1, Topps Chrome, Sapphire, inserts, numbered parallels, short prints, and 1/1 cards featuring Lucky Black Cat.

Some collectors call the goal of obtaining all or many parallel colors of the same card “building the rainbow.”

A rainbow is a collection of different parallels of the same underlying card.

For example, a collector might own the Base, Refractor, Green /99, Gold /50, Orange /25, Black /10, Red /5, and 1/1 versions of the same VeeFriends character.

Completing every available parallel is commonly referred to as completing the rainbow.

Start by identifying four things:

1. The year and card set.
2. The character.
3. The card or insert.
4. The parallel.

Next, check whether the card is serial numbered.

A card numbered /5 has five copies of that particular variation, while a 1/1 has only one.

For unnumbered cards, rarity may instead be determined by official pack odds, short-print designation, product exclusivity, or other manufacturer information.

Never assume a card’s print run solely from its appearance.

Standard Topps Chrome VeeFriends and Topps Chrome VeeFriends Sapphire are separate product configurations.

Sapphire uses a distinctive premium foil and refractive treatment and can contain its own parallel structure and exclusive inserts.

Collectors should therefore treat a standard Chrome version and its Sapphire counterpart as different collectibles.

VeeFriends cards can have secondary-market value, but values vary substantially depending on the character, set, rarity, parallel, serial number, condition, grading, demand, provenance, and recent comparable sales.

A card being rare does not automatically establish a particular market value.

When estimating value, compare the exact card and parallel against recent completed sales whenever possible rather than relying only on active asking prices.

Grading may be useful for certain cards, particularly rare, valuable, low-numbered, historically significant, or exceptionally well-preserved examples.

Whether grading makes financial sense depends on the card’s condition, expected grade, grading fees, collector demand, and comparable graded sales.

Collectors should evaluate each card individually rather than assuming every card should be graded.

VeeFriends Comics are official stories built around characters from the VeeFriends universe.

The comics expand character personalities, relationships, origins, conflicts, and the larger VeeFriends world. Official comic stories contribute to VeeFriends canon, making comics useful not only for comic collectors but also for fans interested in the history and development of individual VeeFriends characters.

Not necessarily. VeeFriends comic books are designed so individual issues can tell self-contained stories, allowing readers to enjoy many issues without having read every previous release.

At the same time, the comics collectively expand the larger VeeFriends canon, so reading multiple issues can provide more context about characters and their world.

Yes. Physical VeeFriends comics are also collectibles.

Depending on the release, collectors may encounter different issues, formats, covers, cover variants, limited releases, and other collectible editions.

Comic collectors may therefore collect by issue, cover, character, artist, rarity, or complete series.
